Eagle Hockey Pant fit

I have chance to get a great deal on Eagle X72i hockey pants for my son (I am learning! last time I mentioned pants I called them Breezers and got hammered) Anyway, he is quite tall and thin for his age and so far the XXV junior Large has fit as has the tackla Prolites. The problem is the eagle pants are in an online liquidation auction and we cannot try them on and I am not aware of anyone locally that carries them.

I have never seen Eagle pants in LHS in Mn so I am going off the assumption that they are made with the same quality as their gloves.

Can anyone help me out here?

Should I just go with the XXV's?

If anything I'd go for the Tacklas. Better pant by far, especially the tailbone protection. In my opinion one of the most flexable as well as impressively protective hockey pants on the market.
