Mission Commander Sizing

Hey, I have a buddy who is looking at the Mission Commanders as his first pair of Indoor Inline Skates. What kind of sizing should he be looking at? He wears an 8.5e in CCM/RBK ice skate currently. Thanks for your help!

i wear an 8d in ccm and a 9.5d in mission, if that helps. the ccm has a wider heel and is slightly wide for my heel but my heel fits perfectly in the mission.

I've always felt like CCM boots have a narrower heel and wider toe box area. I guess we fit differently.

I have wide feet, definitely a wider forefoot and I wear a size 10 shoe but 9 mission...and always have. Although some models have had tighter ankle areas on me, I've always fit well into a 9.

Used to wear a 8.5d in CCM with the Vector Line, I now have 9d Mission Boss (2008) that fit perfect. Hope that helps. It seems Mission Sizing is all over the board.

maybe i should clarify that the 8d in ccm i was referring to are ice boots. i don't know if that makes a difference but 9.5d mission inline skates have always fit me perfect with good heel lock and 8d ccm ice skates fit me great with just some slight heel slipping on certain moves.
