Intake helmet fit

I've got a bauer hh5000 in medium. It fits snug (in a good way) when I have it on its largest size, but its slightly too tight width wise. I'm looking at mission intake fusions (especially with the going price on them) and I'm wondering if a medium would fit me. Is it any wider? Is the fit similar at all? How is it different. I searched and didn't come up with much, but if its out there just tell me to keep looking. Thanks!

I used to wear a medium 5000 closed quite a bit and I wound up in a small Intake.

I found they fit a bit bigger/wider because they sat a bit higher on the head.

Also does anyone know the differences between the regular vn fusion and the vn pro stock?
