Removing stickiness from one95

Recommended Posts

thats fine, i'm posting for my sister who plays for a D1 team, she got a dozen one95's but they messed up the order and sent her ones with stick'um on it, so she's stuck. She doesn't care what they look like

Depending on how slippery she wants them;

Try a coat of clear paint that will cover the stick'um.

Try a mild cleaning agent like Goof-off, that worked really well to take candy-cane tape residue off a One95 I had.

Stick'um is a coating and the few Bauer sticks I've had with it would peel, especially the One70. Taking a fine grit sandpaper would probably do the trick, but I'm not sure how the One95's tactile zone would factor into that method.

Also, palm material is a big factor in how much tackiness the stick has. If she has multiple pairs of gloves she uses, switching to a nash from a digital would help the sticks feel less grippy.
