crazy-luke-finch 0 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 I just today got the Bauer Vapor X:30's that i ordered off of the internet and im not sure if the fit is right. The skates fit perfect everywhere except my big toes and pressing against the side of the toe cap slightly. I am wondering if the fit of these skates is wrong for me? Or will this problem sort itself out once i start skating in them? Please let me know if you have experience with this problem.
raganblink 82 Report post Posted October 3, 2009 Probably why you should have tried them on before getting them. If you've had Bauer vapor's before the fit shouldn't have been different significantly to not be comfortable.
steelperformer 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2009 I have the same problems with vapor xxv, vapor xxxx and now vapor x:60. At all these skates my big toe will rub at the side of the toe cap and after a time of skating it hurts a lot. Have tried to heating the toecap an punch it and stick a feltstrip into the toecap, its a little better but not eliminating the problem total. Have Easton SE 16 und Bauer one95 - no Problem with the toecap .frank
duch 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 Obviously the Vapor skate is not the skate for you. If you don't have issues with the SE16 or Bauer One/95's then those are the skates to stay with. There's no point in squandering your hard earned cash on something else or your time with another brand that doesn't work for you. ( regardless of how popular the skate is with other people) Go with what feels the best to YOU.
