JR is right. That's about the only hockey store in Atlanta. The Cooler (in Alpharetta) and The IceForum (Thrashers official practice crap-facility) are the two other places. The Cooler has a pretty good selection of Eastons and sherwoods. The IceForum has Eastons and Warriors and a lot of gloves there.

What exactly are you looking for?

i don't know. there are no shops in charlotte so any time i leave, I look for hockey stores. I tend to like bauer stuff more, but would love to find a pair of old stock MIA's some where. also wouldn't mind finding some pro stock stuff too

maybe Machinehead and I could arrange a private sale for you. ;)

HockeyTime is your best bet but yes, they are wicked expensive. don't be fooled by their address, their new store is really a lot closer to Alpharetta than Roswell.

I'm playing on Tuesday at the Cooler if you're bored.....although you'd have to be REALLY frakkin' bored. :)

That's the store in the shopping plaza, there's a Kroger in there right?

It's a very nice looking store, but was floored by the prices.

Yep you got it JR (which is also my name btw).

As for HockeyTime being near alpharetta, I'm pretty sure it's on that border of Alpha/Roswell. I have a friend who lives not even 3mi from there and is actual address is Roswell, but he tells everyone Alpharetta. Chances are Shoeshine you've played with him in REC league if you play REC.

Is there pick-up? might be better than sitting in the hotel room with a guy from work. Might try to brib him since we only have one rental and don't want to be a dick and leave him there. he likes hockey so I might be able to pull it off. also depends on what time they let us out of school.

thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys. i only knew about the cooler, that's only because we played travel there when i was younger.

diff going to check them out.

the Cooler has pickup everyday from noon-2pm for $10. the only night time pickup is at the MIC (formerly Parkaire) on the 3v3 ice from 8:20-10:20PM. not sure of the skill level of that one though.....
