I read it as him pleading with his team for a goal, but that's speculation on my part. I really don't see Mason taunting someone, especially in the shootout where he's been so weak this year.

The stick swinging or the taunting he gave the 'Hawk players? I'm guessing both were out of frustration. Hell, maybe he was gesturing his own players to get a damn goal. I mean they were going against a shaky Huet.

And only one guy put a good wrist shot high to the glove side. Either their scouting sucks or the players don't listen.
