I don't live too far from this place and not sure why it would take so long. I tried emailing them and calling I never get any answer or responses whatsoever. KYHockey3 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 i haven't ordered from that site before but i am almost positive that one of my friends ordered some tour skates from them and never really heard back from the website. They either had the problem with 24hourhockey.com or 247hockey.com . His mom had to file a complaint with the credit card company, as the website did charge her card for the amount of the skates. The company would not answer calls or emails. The skates were eventually recieved, and the boxes/shipping things seemed sketchy. It was a very bad experience for them with this website. sds 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 I had trouble about 2 years ago with 24hrhockey.com (Jan 08). Ordered some blades, they sent the wrong lie on a Warrior Draper and another blade didn't fit a shaft. Sent them back as instructed and they never credited my account. It was during this time that all communication with them ceased to exist for like 6 months. They would not answer the phone or email. flyerman 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2009 Well they seem like good guys, but I don't think they have a handle on their biz at all. I can tell you I've had ac couple of horrible experiences dealing with them. I also finally had to file a claim with my CC to get back money for a stick they charged me for but never shipped -- nor apparently even attempted to order for me since they didn't have it in stock as advertised on their website. They're good people and normally good with sending out orders...chances are they could be away (they seem to go away a lot).no they're not. total dickheads there. that store or whatever it is, is a joke. i tried to buy new elbow pads last summer and they never sent them. never returned any emails. never answered the phone. luckily, they also never charged my card. i am in philly so they are not far from me either but WTF! if you look at their website, it tells you the name of the store and how they have been in business for centuries blah blah blah. avoid at all costs.
