Is it just me or is the league really cracking down on the fighting. I was at the devils rangers game as soon as a scrum broke out the linesmen were there to break it up.

I hadn't noticed, I think if it becomes an immediate hugfest they will break it up, but I have seen them let a couple go the distance

The league is cracking down a bit on the "staged" fights, but that has nothing to do with what you're talking about.

I enjoy the fighting aspect of the game. Not for pure bloodlust mind you. But I am noticing that I physically cringe watching a fight everytime a player without a helmet falls down while clutching the other player and cant control the fall or brace himself.
