CCM v08 pants VS Easton Stealth S7

Hi guys,

I'm wondering which pants have better protection? Maybe someone has experience of wearing both of them? All answers and propositions are welcome :)

Both are excellent pants and I don't think you can go wrong no matter which pant you choose. I have the S-7's and they are very comfortable and protective but I wouldn't have turned down the V08's if they where offered to me.

Not sure about the V08's but I currently have and use both the V06's and the S7's. The S7's are a little more protective and roomy. My V06's are more contoured and closer fitting. I more often than not choose the CCM's because of the slimmer fit but the Eastons seem more protective.

Also, what can you say about Nike-Bauer XXXX?

Do these pants have less protection? I haven't bought neither CCM nor Easton, so what is about XXXX? Can these pants be a rival of v08 or S7?

I don't have much experience with the other pants you listed but I do have the CCM V08's and love them. They are really really protective. I don't really feel much whenever I fall and yet I still have great mobility in them. I've had them for about 5 months now and have only had one instance where I fell flat on my tailbone and felt slightly sore a day or two after, other than that I haven't had any other falls or impacts that have bothered me at all. The only thing I would also mention is that they do not have much padding at all on the back of the legs, I've never been hit there before but I figured I would mention it to you in case its an important factor. I recently tried on the V0-6's and liked them, although I thought they felt a bit stiff. Did you notice this and did it go away after playing in them a bit? What do you think of the protection?
