Best wooden blade to curve

Hello to all,

Tomorrow I am planning on going to purchase a shaft and a couple wooden blades. After my purchase I am planning on bringing the blades home and curving them myself.

What I need to know is, if anyone has any experience curving wood blades and witch company or model are the best for curving?

I will be using a heat gun for the curving. Is that the right tool to curve a blade?

i've had good outcomes with curving all easton blades that aren't on a one piece stick. but wood is always easier to work with.

forgot about christian, if you can find the kind of blade without the fiberglass wrap. those are good too

Easton pro stocks and Christian. Back when the US dollar was worth a damn I'd get a dozen or two of the Easton pros from Cyclone Taylor and find ones to make my customs off of.
