Graf G3 comparison

Recommended Posts

* I searched around a little couldn't find much info

Looking to maybe leave behind my beloved graf g3's for another brand due basically to boot issues.

I love everything about the graf skate. Flex, feel and the pitch.

I'm looking for basically a skate that compares to a graf g3 Narrow.

Thanks guys.

pain haha.

it kills me not to be able to even take a pass off the boot.

also the toe caps are too small, i need narrow skates but the toe caps do a number on the outside of my big toes.

other than that i couldnt be happier with them. i mean, i am not too happy with the steel. i feel like the cobra steel looses its edge so fast. i thought about putting lightspeed 2's on them with a heel lift but i was also thinking about switching skates instead.

couldn't do anything about the pain from getting hit with the puck, but if you've got a good LHS could you not get a wider toe-box put on and get some step steel. would think that would be cheaper then new skates, dunno if its a viable option! I feel like half my posts on here are about step, but its the best $50 ive ever spend swapping it for the crappy graf steel.

sorry cant help with narrow skates, i can tell you all day about wide though :P

Cant recommend it enough! I found much more time between sharpening and more glide. I used to get mine sharpened every 2 weeks (play 3-4 hours a week), now I go about 4 weeks between sharpenings.

I got mine from their Ontario distributor, Nash Sports (nash@pipcom.com) as listed on their website. no problems whatsoever.

velocity, but if i need to buy again i'll get the normal. sharpeners horning stone messes up the finish.

is that the only difference is the finish?
