uclahockey707 1 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 Was thinking about picking one of these guys up since they're so cheap now ($119) and cutting off the extra 2 inches they have, but was wondering if anyone has any experience with them, specifically, how do they stack up against the one95 in terms of weight and performance. Any input is appreciated, thanksscott
Bucky25 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 I have a one85...purchased it specifically b/c it was longer. Performance was very good for me, nice kick and the blade has good feel. Never used a one95 though so I can't compare. Nice stick and if you can get it for $119 I'd definitely go for it.
Brian Harte 1 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 I used a ONE85 for a little bit, but it was too stiff for me. I did like it other than that though. It was a really nice stick.

Bucky25 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 IMO, you won't find a price point stick that will perform even close to this. Cutting it shouldn't impact the performance.
clthockey22 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 I'd say if you are thinking about it, make sure to get a lower flex than normal. If I had to guess, I'd say it's prob like a one75 just longer? don't know for sure though
ntwusc 62 Report post Posted January 3, 2010 I've considered buying the One85, but didn't because according to the flexes listed on the butt end, the stick will be stiffer than a One95 at the same length. The lowest flex it comes in is 87, so you wouldn't be able to compensate for the increased stiffness by going down to a 77.
