Does anyone have any experience with creating music on their computer? Its for a project. I have "sick beats" on my computer and i have a mic. I just need a way to talk into the mic and have it go over the music then save it all as one. any good programs for this? iam thinking middle of the pack programs?

Audacity, it's free. I use it for doing radio spots and some other voice work I pick up on the side.

+1 for Audacity

You would be able to do it with that - only problem you might encounter is a slight delay - it wont matter much if you're not singing to a beat etc

I use Audacity to create a guitar riff, then play that again while recording lead over the top - the delay can be a pain as it puts you out of sync - but i rectified it last time somehow - cant remember how though sorry.
