Datsyuk uses a 4k. Seems a lot of guys do, just like a lot of guys prefer the CCM v08 to the V10 because they'd rather have the VN liner.

My bad. Bernier uses a Bauer lid now. But he was using a 4k before he switched. I think Patrice Bergeron uses a 4k.

In the last couple of years I have seen a lot of guys wearing what looks like the Bauer 4000 helmet. A lot of the pros don't like a lot padding in their helmets. This can be seen also in the fact that quite a few players still wear the old style CCM helmets.

I was at my LHS Sunday and purchased a Bauer 5100 .. but as i was trying to put my visor on i realized it wouldnt fit and had to return it. I use a small NBH 1500 now. Was looking to upgrade after a few hits to the head. Was disappointed my visor didnt fit. Really liked this helmet.

I wear a medium 5100 and a coworker of mine wears a small 5100. We both have HS22 straight cut on our helmets. It fits, it just opens the helmet up some, as in it pulls the ear/temple area out.

You'll tend to see a lot of 4500/5100s in the NHL mostly.

Oakley VR904 Modified Straight Small Visor w/ Slots.

it looked like it was going to put too much pressure on the visor and cause cracking so i didnt take a chance.

Kronvall does for sure. I think Corey Perry is still wearing it as well.

Are you using spacers? If so that's odd because most visors especially Oakleys should be compatible with most helmets.

yup had the spacers that came w/ the visor also trying to install. Maybe i needed to sit down and try it again. I really want a new helmet.
