One75 vs. CCM 09+ fitment?

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I am thinking about getting a pair of One75 skates and converting my current CCM 09+ to roller.

I am a size 11 in the CCM's and I have a high volume foot (size 13 in street shoe). The CCM's are just the right depth, no lace bite, but if I went any shallower it would be a problem!

So my questions are, Should I go with the EE sizing for the bauer skate. And how deep in comparison is the One75 boot Vs. the ccm boot?

Thanks

I have the same problem with having a large volume fit. I went EE in the One 95's and no lace bite or anything like that. I was impressed with how deep they are. I would go with a EE width in the Bauers for sure

Not sure about that, but I have always found that the CCM brand fits a higher volume foot in regular widths. I have always needed to go EE in Bauer regardless of model for my wide foot

I tried both the 95 and 75 and the 95 does indeed fit larger than the 75 does. It has more volume and is wider than the 75, so you cant go off one for the fit of the other.

Thanks, but does the one 75 fit the same as the 95?

I know somewhere some told me the 75 fits like the old 90...

It does. If you need the volume of the U+, the 75 probably ain't for you. 95 or 55 will give you the deeper fit you probably need.

The 75 doesn't just fit like a one 90, it is a One90, just with a beefed up tendon guard and a better holder.

I think the one55 would be kinda of a down grade from my U 09+. The CCMs perform great, but if I am going to convert ice to roller, I want to upgrade from my current skate. Maybe I will wait and save up for the 95, or just try the 75 and make sure I find a good return policy.

If I do try the 75 should I get a larger size?? I am a 11 in the CCM boot, 13 in street shoe and I like my boot tight.

from what i've heard and experienced the One75 fits like the One90 (which is a shallower boot) The one95's fit deeper. I prefer the shallow boot so from my one90's i have a hard time adjusting to the One95's and sold them. I"m currently looking for the equivalent in the new supreme line. (perhaps the One80).

But going from the U 09+ if you are looking for a boot with volume i'd definately check the One95's. I've seen them on clearance all over the place so you should be able to find a good deal.

I just switched from One75 to One95 because it wasn't wide or deep enough for me. If depth is a concern then the One75 probably isn't the way to go.

I have to agree, but the one75/90's are surprisingly heat moldable. I've gote a pair of 95's and 75's and have been pleased, because I got the 75's thinking they would have no chance of fitting, but with no socks on, after baking 2-3 times and wearing around the house a week, they just might work <_<
