Rbk 6k or Nike Bauer 5500 helmet?

Which of these helmets would you recommend?

Or is there something else better for this price point?

I'd go with the Bauer 5500. Nicer fit and excellent protection. Enough said.

You should try on some helmets to see how they fit your head. Brands tend to fit different types of heads.

In terms of protection, both the 5500 and 6K are comparable with one another but I do find the 6K to be lighter. I was due for a helmet upgrade a while back coming off of the 4500 and naturally went with the Bauer brand as it has always fit me well only to find that the 5500 was too narrow for my head.

I tried on the 6K and it fit perfectly. I'm not sure if it was my head that changed or the Bauer 5500 wasn't suitable for my head type and I would recommend that you try both on to see what fits better.
