Info on Graf Tyke 370's

Recommended Posts

Time for the little man to get new skates.

He likes the yellow G on Dads skates and likes the 370's with the white.

Anyway trying to find out how these fit. Not a single shop in Nor Cal carries them and any that do want a deposit even to order. He currently skates in CCM Tacks Y9 but needs to go to 10s. From what I have read the boot is pretty deep which is perfect for him, but he has little arch and a fairly wide foot.

Any of you shop guys out there stock these? If so whats your impression of them?

Really looking for any feed back. I cant even find many shops that stock them.

I've seen some tyke Graf 301s..Might be a better deal..who knows? I'm going to take a stab and guess that the 370's fit like the rest of the 70 line, deep and wide.

Maybe the 370 would be a better skate for a newbie toddler. Toddlers tend to have thicker, undeveloped feet IMO and need more depth perhaps?

Info on the Graf 370 per the Graf.ca website:

Well I called the guys at cyclone taylor. They only stock the tyke 301. He said not to go with the 301. He said the 370 was definelty more like the tack. That said he didnt stock them.

Sucks because none of the major etailers have them, no local shop will order without a non refundable deposit. I could put him back in reeboks, but wanted to get him something he likes. He turned 4 in October and is good sized for his age and skating very well for his age. Stops fine etc. He is in the mini mite league and got his first goal recently he is holding his own against the 5 and 6 kids always in the pack and has even had a few break aways. He is skating hard and listening well so I wanted to reward him with something he wanted.

He wants goalie pads, but no way I am turning him into a hampster. Guess I will take the gamble. Texas skate has them. Thats one of the only ones I have found.
