want to upgrade skates - current have graf 609

I've had a pair of graf 609's for about 5 years now and looking to upgrade to a newer/better skate...they fit me great, I can't complain.

what would be close fitting in the graf ultra line? I am not sure exactly since 609's aren't listed on the site anymore, so I can't compare them using the fitment tool

is there any other brands I should consider that would have similar fitment?

is it even worth me 'upgrading'?

I play 3-4 times a week, and came across some money, so figured why not, unless y'all tell me otherwise

If you are skating in the 609's, the Graf model still being made that is similar is the 709. This model is higher up than the 609 so it costs more. You can also find the G9, which is like the 709 too.

If you want a skate that fits your foot similar other than Graf, then look at the Bauer Flexlite line. I actually owned a pair of 709's and now own Flexlites and they are great, wide and deep, which is what the 709's gave me.

Of course you would have to try them on to be sure. That being said, if the boot is still in good condition and the inside is holding up, there is no reason to get rid of the skates. A teammate of mine has a pair of Graf 703's that are close to 7 years old and still holding up fine.

The G9 is no longer, but the newer Ultra G70 is similar, but with a more snug heel instead of the ultra wide heel. I wear those since I have a normal heel and high instep. Perfect fit for me.
