S15 or U+ Pro 2008? Durability isnt an issue

Recommended Posts

Hi, Im currently wearing some 9ks that I picked up in October, but theyre a little heavy for my liking, and they hurt the bottom of my feet. So, should I get S15s or U+? Im in high school and my feet are still growing so they dont have to last over 8 months... The Us fit will be similar (same) to the 9ks generally as far as arch, volume, etc.. right?

If youve used any of these, could you please give me your thoughts?

thanks

Hayden

ps im getting these both for under $200 so i just want to know about comfort and preformance

If you like a stiffer skate go with the S-15. If your looking for a little more flex I'd go with the U+. Both skates are a very comfortable fit but you'll need to try them on to be sure which fits you the best. The fit of the U+ is a bit different from the Reebok 9K so you can't say it will feel the same. You really need to heat up the U+ to get the nicest feel because they feel very boxy if you don't. They really need to mould to your feet and sometimes it takes two heat mouldings to get just the right fit. The S-15 are also heat mouldable as well but as previously mentioned it is a very stiff skate because it is a composite one piece boot. It really comes down to a personal preference issue with skates. Get the skate that fits you the best is my advice.
