Compare TUUK Holders

Recommended Posts

I have used Custom + holders for a lot of years. A few pairs of skates ago I wore 8000's with the new Lightspeed holders. I didn't like them because the inside of the indentations on the back became soft and flexible. That was a major performance problem. After that, I went back to C+ for several pair of skates. Last season I wore one90 classics/s9's. I got them with the latest version on the lightspeed holder and it immediately felt different so I switched back to C+. I have been wearing one95's this season with C+ holders and all is well. I am in the process of working out the details on my next pair of wheels and I am considering giving the lightspeed another shot because they are so much easier to work on. I'm confident I could get used to them this time around, but I don't know if I should bother. Any thoughts?

What's the difference between the TUUK Lightspeed 2 with LS 2.1 Power stainless steel runner found on the one100's and the Tuuk Lightspeed 2 with LS2 stainless steel runner from the X60's?

Thanks

James

Tuuk LS2.1 Power is a longer steel providing you with more straight ahead speed.

Tuuk LS2 Stainless Steel is more of the standard blade.

IMO I like the Lightspeed holders, but haven't worn the Custom+ in a long time so it's hard to give a side by side comparison. I have however worn them since they came out, and used the Lightspeed, Lightspeed 2, and Lightspeed 2 Power holder and I haven't had any problems with them breaking or going soft.
