here's a thought:

in a way, the manufacturers are the ones scamming you/us... into thinking that the majority of the players are using these top end sticks full of amazing technology, when really it seems they're all using the ST, 7K, etc.

Agreed 100%. It's just evidence that new technology isn't always what it's cracked up to be.

Yeah that's a little bit of it. But has Easton made a stick better than the Stealth CNT yet? Plenty of players still use the Dolomite (Vapor 20) too.

It's funny, I had a CNT and couldn't stand it. Now I have a Pro Stock one (I think, it's Derek Roy's and is painted as a S17 but has no elliptical) and I love it. Although the corners aren't as raised on it.

And weren't the Vapor XX's just an Inno 1100 (or something)? And my understanding is that stick had been around forever.

I bought a pro stock warrior dolo from an online store and when i got it i instantly noticed it was heaver then my retail dolo i poped the cap and it was a vapor painted to look like a dolo, I didn't complain i got it cheap and after about 5 games i got used to it
