Congrats to the UMD Women

The University of Minnesota Duluth women just won their 5th national championship in 10 years. And they did so with 5 of their starters being red-shirted after being selected to skate in the Olympics. Amazing.

It was one of the most compelling games I've seen all year, NHL, men's NCAA, and the Olympics included. It went 19 minutes in to triple overtime. Unreal.

Congratulations to 2nd place Cornell, as well. Wonderfully disciplined play. Hope you carry this momentum into next year. The Ivy League is due for a championship.

I wanted Cornell to win so bad...those kids have so much heart and class. They played that 3 OT game with 16 skaters and their best D pair are both freshmen.
