Custom Warrior Glove

So i decided to order a pair of Warrior gloves in February post Olympics. This is how my experience has been with Warrior so far.

After the Olympics I spoke to my LHS about ordering a pair of warrior gloves - I wanted the team canada replica, so they said they would look into it. A few days later they told me i could not get them - the cuff and thumb logos were specialized just for the Olympics. Fair enough.

So i was told to contact warrior about the custom colours on the glove since it is not offered online. I was directed to somebody in the customizing department and i spoke to him about what i wanted to do with my gloves. He returned my call a week later to say they once again cannot do the custom Olympic logos - i would have to do the regular warrior logo. I was okay with that but what really surprised me was they would not do the colourway that I asked them to do. He explained to me that the gloves that were used in the Olympics were a franchise version 2.0 and was not available to the public yet. He told me to call back in 3 weeks and then they should be able to make the glove I want with the appropriate colours as they are not able to produce this glove on the current franchise model.

I call back 3 weeks later, only to hear that I still am not able to order my gloves I have to wait even longer. All I wanted to order was the current franchise glove with that certain colourway. Ive seen special make up custom gloves posted in the custom glove topic, so i do not understand why they refuse to make them. The difference is one stripe and cuff colour. Am I asking too much from them? Im really unimpressed with the service and am now thinking of ordering custom Eagles.

Hmmm, that's wierd. The franchise 2.0's have been out for a while now. It's impossible to make the color pattern you want online (even with the pro color pattern option)?

maybe it's a misunderstanding. The good news is that there is a Warrior guy here, so I'm sure he can offer some words.

yea, i hope that the Warrior guy chimes in. The closest Pro colour option is Kovalchucks glove, but the cuf and pinky are different colour

I wanted to do something similar to what they have in the 2010 catalogue on here, where the one stripe next to the pinky goes all the way up to the top cuff and the top cuff color and that single stripe match, then the main cuff and the pink match, and the customizer doesn't really let you pull that off. I was considering calling them, espcially since in the hustler pant topic on here people are thinking the conversion calculation is off, to see if I'd be better off going that route, but sounds like that's not the case.

The Franchise 2010 has suffered a slight delay due to a test production snafu. We should be up and running with the new model for customization on the customizer next week.

PM me who you spoke with. we have to stay within the guidelines of the new striping, but you should be able to achieve the look you want with our new color blocking. Of course, the Canada thumb and cuff designs will not be on the glove, sorry!

Please give Warrior another chance...don't buy Eagles just yet.

Good to hear about the new model on the 2010 model on the customizer next week! I've been thinking of ordering custom Franchise for a while but, ever since seeing/hearing about the blooming cuff I've wanted to try the new model.
