Shaving a z-carbon blade

I did this a while back when I cut down my M-1 stick. I shaved the hosel on evenly on each side, and then slid it in. No problems but then again this was an 02 model Z-carbon and they might of changed. Good luck with it.

Its the z-carbon with the focus flex.....03' I assume

Yes, It had the focus flex and I shaved the sides down evenly and I fit it into my tapered M-1 shaft. The performance was decent but I also hated the curve.
