Hockey puck Rebounder/ Backstops

Recommended Posts

How many of you guys have used these things, and how much did you spend on them? Also what brand and where did you purchase them?

I was wondering because I have lost about 75 pucks in the last few months and I am sick of buying new ones or searching the bushes across the street for them.

For all those who don't know what I am talking about http://www.hockeyshot.com/EZGoal_Backstop_...bounder-004.htm

I have that exact one. It works as advertised.

I actually picked up one of these nets, and am just simply shooting into it.

it's basically the same netting that goes around the top of the rink. I don't have the biggest slapper in the world, but I'm actually just shooting right into it, without a goal, and it's taking the force of the shots just fine. The key is having some slack in it to slow the pucks down as they hit (and not just rebound them back at you because I was spending as much time getting pucks behind me as I was before) so even though the net is 25 ft wide if stretched out to it's maximum, I currently have it a little over 12 ft wide. Fire at the net, and they all sit at a nice little pile at the base of the net waiting to be picked up and shot again.
