Drury/Kovalev

I want to try out the drury/kovalev pattern or one of its clones but can't find anything in a lie 5 (4 warrior). Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks.

i saw some sticks on totalhockey.com that had lie 4 kovalev's. the new dolo spyne DD in particular. the '10 warrior models are supposed to have more lie options for their patterns.

If you're a lefty, there are pro stocks galore in Drury-ish patterns as low as 4 lie.

sorry to jack thread, quick question, but are the drury/kovalev comparable to the Bauer Gagne P106?

Eh, not really. Both open heels with a similar curve measurement, but two very different types of heels. The P91/91A are flatter heels that curve right at the heel and the P106 is a softer curve that's more rounded.

Yeh, the p106 is also a bit more rockered. It can take a little bit of time to get used to.

Keep an eye out for Bauer P72, it's pretty similar (less rocker, squarish toe, slightly less loft) and a 5 lie.

I tried totalhockey.com no luck I am looking for a tapered blade for my se16 shaft. I would use a warrior blade but I don't like their ops. Also i am a lefty so could someone let me know some of the pro stock patterns in the drury clone lie 5 in an easton stick or where and how to find this out. Thanks a lot for the help

you can also try a TPS Frolov; that's about as good as you'll find @ retail without scouring for a lie 4 kovalev.

do you know if the p72 and sherwood's PP9(formerly pp19) curves' are the same or similar? i havn't seen a p72 in person, but all the pics lead me to believe they are identical.

All the Frolov's I have are a 5.5 lie. I even have two messed up R8 OPS Frolov's that are a lie 6! The Drury/Kovalev is a flatter curve than the Frolov.
