Eagle sentry gloves

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tried there gloves? I'm mainly looking to use it for inline hockey hoping that the vents on the back roll will keep my hands cool and dry. I'm concerned about the index finger that doesn't look very manuverable.

Finger movement isn't bad on the new versions (post 2006 or so) that have the segmented fingers. The trouble I always had with them was the weight. The "backroll" with the vents on it is solid rubber/plastic type material and it's fairly heavy. The gloves seem more designed to be lacrosse goalie gloves than hockey player gloves. But the ventilation is nice if you're playing in a sauna like we have here locally (no AC in the inline rink).

Another thing you might want to consider is just ordering a regular pair of eagles with mesh gussets, does wonders for ventilation. Some of the warrior entries have mesh gussets as well.

A old travel roller team I was on used them. Like GekigangarIII said before, they were heavy as sin and not comfortable. I remember the cuffs being extremely short on mine and there was no liner or padding between the top of my hand and the backroll. The lack of segmented fingers wasnt a problem as my x50s were built the same way and broke in quickly. The ventilation was good but I have never used a glove where that ever was a problem for me.
