stick tape job

hey guys

I used some blade tape for inline because regular tape job makes the blade to sticks to the ground. (where I play inline, they have tiles)

My bladetape ran out and i don't want to waste my money on another blade tape.

any of u guys know how to make the tape less sticky????????

just dont tape the bottom part of the stick. instead of doing the usual wrap around the blade, cut stripes of regular tape and place them horizontally on your blade. it takes a while but you will avoid taping the bottom, hence no stickiness

if you do tape the bottom rub the bottom of the blade on the floor for a good 10seconds all stick is gone

I tape the whole blade, then wax the bottom of my blade a little and it eliminates any stickiness.

If you don't want tape on the bottom at all, tape it like normal, then cut it with a razor blade along the bottom of the blade on both sides, and just peel it off carefully.

This is exactly what I would suggest. I've never noticed any "drag" on my blade.

When I don't use Bladetape, I just take 2 strips and run them horizontally across the front and back of the blade. Works fine, but then no one ever said I was the best stickhandler.
