Need a new bag

Recommended Posts

Figure I'd post here instead of starting a new thread.

I'm looking for a bag, however my requirements are different than most: I want a bag as small as I can get, with still being able to fit everything in it (adult). I have a tiny trunk and right now I have to stuff my bag into it. I've been looking at the CCM and RBK backpacks, as well as the shock doctor bags (they look pretty small).

I wanted to bump the thread because of this question. I can't seem to find the bag anywhere (online or in a store), aside from customizing it direct from Warrior, and I haven't found any very specific feedback on it. Has anyone purchased a retail model or customized one? Any issues with the size? Too big, too small?

I started this thread way back when to look for a wheeled bag, and ended up with an extra Warrior bag from a team I coach. Is it super fancy? No, but it has plenty of pockets inside to keep my stuff organized between my equipment closet and the rink, its rather light (which is nice, since there are three flights of stairs between my apartment and my car) and it seems quite durable. I'm not sure if it comes in multiple sizes, but my peewee players seem to fit all their gear with room to spare. I don't have a ton of extra space in mine, but it holds all my gear easily.

I ended up getting this, the price is great and they don't kill you on shipping costs. You will have to play Tetris to fit everything, but it does the trick. The front pocket is large enough to hold 2 folded jerseys, and my accesories go in the skate pockets.

Looks pretty good! I'll add that to the list of bags to compare/consider :) Thanks!

For a wheeled bag you can't beat the Grit Tower. Holds everything in place and keeps things organized. Tackla%20Grit%20tower%20image%202.jpg

THIS is what I really want.. but I cant justify $160 :(

What would you guys recommend for a low profile non-wheel bag. Preferably taller and narrower that has end pockets and skate pockets.

I have a Sherwood RM5 bag that fits this profile. It has exterior skate pockets, and two end pockets, but the main compartment is about as small as you could get and still fit everything in. It's a pretty basic/low-end bag, but it's exactly what I want because I often take the bus to games so I need to keep the size of my bag to a minimum. From Sherwood's current line, the T50 appears to be the same bag I have with a new name.
