have any canadians used "no-icing" for sharpening/radius work?

just curious what sort of turn around it was for your blades to send them and receive them? I know he has them in and out quick, just wondering about shipping delays/customs.

I got a pair of glasses from TX shipped to me...took 3 weeks, and most of the delay was customs I believe...can't be blade-less for that long

It's not worth it unless you are not in a hurry as it takes forever for mail to/from Canada. And the shipping is ridiculous. Plus, can't you find a good sharpener in Canada? :-O

I can, he's just about a half hour drive, kind of hard with my schedule, and this guy seems to take pride in his work...wanted to see if it was possible to just do it

but ya, the more I think about it, without 2 steels, not gonna be possible

the guys near me, I haven't had good luck with, seems like depending who's working, it's hit or miss.
