Tackla Pro 5000 hockey pants with zipper

I have a chance to get a pr of Tackla Pro 5000 hockey pants...they are used, and they have a zipper that holds the 2 pieces together? Are these just really old? Anyone have any expierience? So, if I wanted to attach another upper, I would have to find one with zipper? Any info would be greatly appeciated.....Thanks very much!!

I have a pair of 5000 pros and they are held together by buttons, not a zipper. I've never heard of uppers and lowers connected by zippers, you should double check with the seller before you buy them.
