Elbows, Shins

Ive been searching around quite a bit on here for info on elbow pads/shin pads and havent had much luck, at least to what im looking for. I currently have a pair of Jofa 9144 elbows, Jofa 9044 shins, that have seen better days, ive had a good run of 7 or so years with them and I'm looking to get a new pairs. I unfortuantely have the problem of only stepping foot in a store about 1 time a year because I live in the panhanle of florida, and im about to move out of country so i need to get some new stuff!

What im looking for is the closest possible thing to the 9044's and 9144's, i know RBK bought out jofa, and still incorperate jofa in their equipment. What my problem is that I have never tried on any RBK stuff since they bought out jofa. I, however have tried on the VaporXXXX and one95 shins and elbows, and hated both lines, way to bluky, and fit terrbily. Just from that experience im going to guess the 8 and 10k lines of the new RBK equipment are similar, to bulky and horrible fit, and do not fit like the original jofa stuff. I would just like some feedback on the RBK line or anything that fits like the old 9044/9144 stuff. posibly from anyone that has worn the 9044/9144 stuff, and has switched to the newer gear!

Would you want to just grab a new pair of those (best elbows ever, IMO)? In any event, Jofa elbows are abundant on eBay and so are shins if you want to look for a replacement pair of 9044s or something similar. Good luck.

The current RBK line isn't bad, though I've got a soft spot for last year's 6K elbows...They're hard to find now. I also don't think my opinion is worth much because I really liked the fit of the Vapor XXXX elbows, but I'd recommend sticking with RBK.
