AHL Sticks

I as talking to a staffer from the Hamilton Bulldogs and she said that all sticks this year have to be accounted for. The players have to "sign out" the sticks that are with them during a game and if one breaks, it is noted and send back to THC. She didn't say whether is was all CCM/RBK sticks or just he RBK ones that aren't currently available to the public.

that's part of the agreement. I thought it was all sticks as well.

Why are they doing this? So the "public" cant find out about new sticks....cough...cough...us ;)

Also to protect local dealers and the teams. A large number of sticks sneak out the back door of an AHL team and end up on the market. This rule should help reduce theft by employees and keep stick budgets down.
