CCM U+ 12 baking

hi,

has anyone baked/heat molded a U+ 12 skate yet?

i wonder, if baking makes the boot tighter around the heel. my heel is moving a little up and down (maybe 1 cm) when i stand up on tiptoes.

the guy in my store says, its impossible to make the heel area smaler through baking. but as ccm advertises with "custom fit" i hope there might be a chance to lock my heel in tighter.

Did you use the CCM fit machine?

Just as an aside, the CCM fit machine inflates air bladders around your skates when you are baking. The idea is to squeeze down the boot to mold it to your foot. If you do not have one where you got the skates, you could try pressing on the heel to simulate the effect.

If there is too much space in the heel, no baking will fix it. The foam compresses to the shape of your foot but will not fill any empty space.
