what really sucks about this is I worked on a proposal last year between a company with some roots in the Georgia area..and the NHL that was to brand them as the "official widget of the NHL" along with a licensing agreement for logo use and .they finally decided on using the All Star game as a barometer to see if it was worth further dollars...

the only reason they even considered being an NHL sponsor is one of the key guys was/is a hockey fanatic...and pushed for it...just more $ left on the side by both parties...not that half a million matters to either it seems
