Helping on getting the right size?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

After i tried the 11k and sold them as soon as possible i will try the total one. Now i have a x60 skate in 8,5EE i tried the 8,5 D an that was too snug and the E was a little to wide but i got used to it.

So now i can't try the total one in my lhs because they only can order it for me when i have the right size, so i have to order a bunch of sizes online and send them back.

I've heard that the total one is wider in the forefoot so i think a D would be great because if the ee of the vapors is too wide for me than the total one would be more than too wide.

Lengthwise with the reebok i had also 8,5 E and the length was 27,3 cm, the bauer 8,5 have 28 cm, should i try an 8 in bauer for the supremes.

Thanks

I tried the X60 last year, and the 11D was too snug, the 11E was too wide. The One95 11D fit the best. I understand that the One100 should fit similar to the One95, but the Total One may be a bit wider, I think in the forefoot.

If your LHS has any Supreme models for you to try, that might be a good idea.

The Total Ones don't fit the same as the Vapor series, and I didn't find that the sizing was the same between one95s and the Total One either. I needed to go down half a size in the Total One from my one95s. As you're asking a lot of questions about skates and seem to be having trouble getting a skate that fits correctly, I'd strongly advise finding a store somewhere where you can be fitted. These are $800 skates and you're doing a whole lot of guessing. And if you're a Vapor guy, why aren't you looking at Vapors?

I have never tried a supreme skate so i can't say i'm a vapor guy. i live in Europe in a small town where the lhs not have any high end skates in stock to try. So the only thing i can do is trial and error. Here costs the total one the x60 or 11k nearly the same so there is no difference. Maybe i wait till the new apx will come out in a limited edition because the normal color scheme looks ugly.

Thanks

Maybe the Supreme Onexx line would fit his foot better. It sounds like he didn't get a really good fit in any of the Vapor size combinations.

In my experience, the Total One fit differently than the rest of the Supreme line, so it would be hard for me to recommend extrapolating the fit of the Supreme line towards the Total One. The one100 did have a similar fit in terms of sizing to the one95, but the Total One did not (as I said, I had to drop an additional size in the Total One).

To the original poster, my best recommendation is to find the highest end skate that you can that fits your foot and then if you want to gamble on the sizing of the highest skate in that line, then go for it. My warning is that it seemed to me that the Total One did fit slightly differently than the rest of the Supreme line. The skate was definitely longer and wider than the one100 and the one95. But since it seems like you're bouncing between Reeboks, Vapors and now the Total Ones, and considering waiting for the APX in a limited edition color scheme, it seems like you're more interested in the skate than the fit.

Yeah, I seem to have developed a bad habit lately of using "Supreme" to refer to all but the TotalOne. I need to stop that.
