Nice find, it's kind of hard to find good pics from Russian games imo so that's nice.

But is this guy using an Octane shaft? If so that's kinda weird, at this level.

its just one of the newer ultra-lites with the light hitting it just right. if you look at some of the other pics of the same player you'll see it with better clarity. nice find with the pics.

Jagr will be playing in Russia too soon. More $$

I think he leads the Czech league by 5 points playing 3-4 games less then everybody else.

AK Bars has Vincent Lecavalier (Tamba Bay), Ilja Kovaltshuk (Atlanta), Nik Antropov (Toronto), Darius Kasparaitis (Rangers), Ruslan Salei (Anaheim), Fred Brathwaite (Columbus), Denis Arhipov (Nashville) and Aleksei Morozov (Pittsburgh).

And they are now close getting Brad Richards. Nice team they have there.. Would be a lot of fun to see them play.

Kazan, Russia - Alexei Kovalev, Brad Richards and Nikolai Khabibulin were the latest locked out National Hockey League players to head abroad, as all three signed on to play for Russia's AK Bars Kazan.
