Don't own that paticular pant but from my experience most Easton high end hockey pants have very good protection. The only complaint seems to be some people don't like the fit and find them too bulky. They tend to flare out at the thigh pads somewhat like Euro pants and are fairly stiff until you've played about seven to ten games, then they loosen up a bit. They tend to be a bit on the shorter side at the legs but not intensely so. I personally like the fit better than Reebok or Bauer pants and as previously mentioned great tailbone, thigh,hip and kidney protection. Durabilty seems to have been very good with the Eastons I've owned and ventilation about average. They are a not a tight fitting pant but you won't feel like your wearing a tent if you get the correct size. Just a bit snug not tight. Hope this helps.
