Help with Street Hockey blades..

Recommended Posts

Hey I saw some blades at my LHS but they are LH , they are wood but then have some kind of coating on them and it says "Street Tough" or something to that effect on the blade. I believe it was an Easton blade. I am trying to find a couple RH blades like this , anyone know what I should be looking for? I have looked for street hockey blades and all i have found is cheap plastic things... LMK!

I totally advise those ABS blades. Easton sells the full wood ABS stick and the blade. If you have an old shaft/broken OPS conversion, then those ABS blades would be perfect (note that they only fit 'standard' shafts, so you might hafta flip that broken OPS around and insert it into the other end.)

I tried an Easton ABS blade last year and it lasted about 3 skates. The outer layer (I'm not sure of the material off the top of my head) came off and it made the blade useless. It was the newer Easton ABS blade, I heard the older ones are better though.
