Malkin Pro Curve

Recommended Posts

THanks I'm looking for that big mid hook banana he uses. After looking at that EQ50 on ebay it definately wasn't that curve I was looking for. I'll keep my eye open for that mid hook like you have. Do you happen to have any pictures of that curve?

I'll take a couple later today and send them over to you.

If you're looking for the round big hook banana curve... This guy has a few ONE90's still floating around. Add eBay account: powerplayauctions. I think that's the name? He always pro stock sticks every couple weeks. And every couple of weeks, there is a 1 or 2 pack of the GINO Bauer ONE90's that had the DEEPER curve than what he has normally been using. However, my Easton stick of his still has a pretty round deep curve. A lot tamer than his old school sticks. But it's definitely not a heel wedge or whatever that curve is on his new EQ50/se16 sticks.

If you look at the namebar it should have a code like 033 or G3. You can ask questions here. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index.php?/topic/52411-pro-stock-bauer-codes/page__st__165

I hope that helps!

Thanks, I believe its an x:60 Dressed up to look like a Total One based on the discussion in the other form about the codes. I will try and post some pictures tomorrow night.

Cool thanks alot man! I actually just bought a Malkin Pro One90 from ebay. I definately didn't have the money for it, but for some reason I decided to buy it anyways :s I'll post pictures of it when I get it, I cant wait but at the same time I cry a little bit knowing I spent money I didn't have lol.

Definitely post pics when you get the stick I wouldn't mind seeing how much of a difference there is between the two sticks.

I shouldn't have bought mine either! It was definitely a bit impulsive, let's hope its lasts longer than a couple of games....

I ebayed a Malkin Stick a couple weekends ago just awaiting its arrival in the mail, I will post some pics of it when it comes. It's a Total One but would not be suprised if its a repainted stick, how would I be able to know?

How much? If you don't mind me asking and what was the sellers name/store?

Hey I don't mind, Turns out it is a repainted x:60 but I got it for 125 + 35 Shipping so 160 Shipped. I am not sure if that is good or bad? I think its somewhere in the middle of the road. Not a great deal but not terrible either.

Seller was: Prauge40

How's the stick performing? Let me know. He always has them up but I'm quite hesitant to buy them just because they're older models. I really like his se16 but I can't seem to find anymore on eBay. This is my only chance I have to buy more!

Let me know the details when you use it!

I will for sure. I should be on the ice tomorrow with it. I'm interested to see how I'll like the grip coating on it. For the longest time I didnt like grip coatings but I think I may like it, it should allow me to really control the stick better, as I am all about finesse hockey and fancy stick handling(although I'm not great, thats how I like to play haha) so I think the coating should help me in that area, but we shall find out tomorrow!

^yeah mine is the G3 model too. Anyways I just got back from playing with this stick despite a horrendous(sp?) game from myself, I thought the stick was awesome! its super light (to me atleast, I'm used to the $80ish dollar sticks.) very responsive and had a good release for wristers. The thing I had to get used to is pass recieving, the blade seemed a bit bouncy to me, as in i found the puck to bounce off the blade more than wood blades, but I'm used to using wood blades in two piece combo's. So i'll say thats just my problem in having to get used to a new blade material. I found passing to be great though again a real good feeling stick. The curve was fantastic too, not too much and not to little. I love this stick. Great buy, I can't wait to play again hopefully I'll play better next time but again its a great stick.
