dserbon 1 Report post Posted May 14, 2013 does anybody know whether the team logos are stiched and glued or stiched only? Would it be possible to remove them?I bought a pair of buffalo pants and the logos were stitched on. To remove them I just took a razor blade and cut the stitches without cutting the pants themselves.
TeamHonda401 54 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 I have a pair of Notre Dame 520's and the shamrock is stitched on only. Either a razor blade or a seam ripper should make quick work of the logo.
ap1922 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2013 does anybody know whether the team logos are stiched and glued or stiched only? Would it be possible to remove them? I bought the Bruins 520 Pro Stocks a couple weeks ago. Both the team logo and NHL emblem are iron-on patches so they could've been ironed on, but they are both only stitched on and easy to remove if you want. So there's no glue residue to worry about, but keep in mind there'll probably be some stitch holes if you don't cover the area with something else. My guess is that they weren't ironed on to prevent damaging the nylon shell of the pants. I easily removed the Bruins logo with a small pair of scissors and then carefully ironed on a MN North Stars logo to make myself a pair of pro stock North Stars pants. I traced the logo onto a thin piece of cardboard, cut out the logo area and then I put the stencil around the logo patch so there was no direct contact between the iron and the nylon shell. I also put a thin piece of cloth over the logo/cardboard for added protection. Iron on Med/High and moved it around with good pressure for about 30 seconds. Also needed to carefully pull out the right plastic thigh pad to be able to put the pant leg flat on the ironing board. They turned out really great and I'm supper happy with it.
