Rashiki 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2011 As I've been on my painful quest of finding my first new pair of skates that fit me well, a lot of my focus has gone into heel locking. In a realistic sense, how good is a good heel lock? Taking into account padding getting squished as your heel attempts to lift due to the pressure of striding, are we looking at a 0mm lifting of the heel? 1mm lifting of the heel? Thanks! Any movement could possibly cause blisters, sore spots, haglunds, etc.

scorer75 9 Report post Posted April 18, 2011 The definition of lock is no movement. When you try that skate on, you will know.
