Easton EQ30 Pants

Looking for some advice. I have decided that I like the Easton EQ30 pants, but having a hell of a time finding them online in XL Navy (my LHS only carries black pants for the most part). Is this something the LHS can typically order?

Or, as an alternate idea - I was thinking of buying the black pants, and then a navy shell (the ones that say they fit over any pants). If I was going to use shells at all like that, it makes the most sense to buy black pants. Does anyone know of a decent quality shell that would work here?

Furthermore - has anyone out there tried the EQ30 pants?

Nevr tried the eq 30's. but ur lhs shouldnt have no trouble ordering them in for you.

Yea, I figured they should be orderable... I just wondered more about the pants/shell idea. But I think I'm just going to say to hell with it and buy navy and use a black shell if i need to. Who cares if the top is blue and the bottoms are black? Nobody sees the top of my pants anyway.

FYI I talked to Easton - apparently only black has been shipped to stores at this point. I guess I'll have to wait. There were a few other pants I liked, but the EQ30 belt system is key for me.

Everyone else says they're still back ordered, but TotalHockey was able to get them for me! Their site also says back ordered, but they're the only site that even has navy as an option, and I figured whatever... I get them when I get them, and placed my order. They were just shipped! :) Cant wait! :D

WOO HOO!

I gotta say, they're a whole lot less comfortable than my crappy old Bauer One15, but I'm sure that's largely due to the stiffer fabric and much bigger and stiffer plastic inserts. I imagine any mid-level pant like this is going to be significantly more bulky than something low end.

I'm still going to end up having to use the suspenders unfortunately, but that's just because I'm a fatass.
