Chadd 916 Report post Posted January 6, 2005 Just answer me this - what LS is it? I bet it's the ones with the grooved out holder.I've been working with these holders for the past year and a half now...they have come a long way in terms of improvement. Nope, no grooves on the ones I'm referring to. The older ones are worse, I agree.

Most come from PIAS, so I'm going the crappy route. :o You should see the steel on the CCMs I've been getting. They make the LS steel look fantastic.
Lester8 11 Report post Posted January 6, 2005 I realized another reason why your heel may be prying out of the back of the boot. Mission tends to build up the gel pads around your ankle. Out of the box, the gel pads make a V-shape. Your ankle may be sliding out of the back (bottom of the V) to where there's more room. You have to make sure the dimples in the gel are far enough back so that it holds your ankle far enough back. If they formed too far forward, then your heel will be too far forward.
