Traveling to Montreal

I will be traveling to Montreal for work. I will be flying back and forth for the rest of the year (3wks in Montreal, 1 wk home) and I was thinking that if i took my stuff up there, I would just store it for the week I am home.

I have never been to Montreal before so I would like to get some input before I lug everything up there. I am looking for info on where to go, joining a summer league, pickup hockey, etc...

There are summer leagues that are going on, some have started already. There are places to play "shiny/pickup/drop in" hockey around the island.

Montreal is a beautiful city. Make sure you take a walk down Sainte-Catherine Street when you have some down time...beautiful area with great shops. Also, stop by the Les 3 Brasseurs (The 3 Brewers) restaurant for some amazing food and delicious in-house brewed beer.

Do you mind if I ask you where exactly? I know there's the sportplexe in Pierrefonds but it takes me about an hour to go there so it's my last resort ahah
