Perani's arena sale

Perani's is having a huge clearance sale in Farmington Hills, MI in July. Has anyone been to this sale in the past? How good are the deals to be had there? I recently (finally) got my passport, so was curious if anyone here has been to this sale in previous years.

I went to the one in Steirling Heights. Everything was marked down atleast 5% with some better deals on featured items.

In the past the sale used to be in Waterford and it was all of the OLD stuff they were trying to clear out. The sales at the local stores the past few weeks were some of their old and new stuff. New stuff being 5% off and older stuff going between 10% to 20% off. It wouldn't hurt to go I guess.

I went last summer when I was back visiting family. I wasn't that impressed. Deals were average, even on pretty old stock. They do announce specials over the PA system every half hour/hour that may be really good, but none enticed me when I was there. Unless I'm in need of something, I probably wont be back.

I learned that if you’re a good sales person, you can actually negotiate items with them and get a pretty good price when it's all said and done.

most of the items come from old stock and there clearence section of the website. most of the big companies have a rep on site at least once. the last ime i went 3 years ago ccm had a rep on site every day for skate fittings. if you know what you want and it old gear it could be good. look for the nike bauer, rbk, cooper, branded gear. they usually have a ton of skates there. also if you go on the first day expect a long line to get in. if your driving by it doesn't hurt to stop by.
