One thing I did notice the other day when I bought a new S19 stick though is that it is still $229 online but it is $199 in the store. I guess nobody is perfect though.

It is 229.99 online because Easton has MAP (minimum advertised price) on that product. If you advertising the price (online stores like TH, IW, HM, HG etc) or advertising a flyer or anything telling customers what the price of the product is, it must not be below a certain price.

However, the reason it is at 199.99 instore ie because we as dealers can charge whatever we want for the product. When we have product that we know is going to be at a certain price in a couple months because a newer model is coming out, typically we will discount the product slightly, so when the new model comes out, we're not stuck with a ton of the old model.

Likewise, we can upcharge higher then that MAP or MSRP on products that sell amazing. Like the bauer skate sock... online they are 14.99, instore at TH and my shop, they are 17.99 (last time I checked).
