Wedging Skate Holder

Hi Guys,

My son has ankles that have very bad pronation. He has orthodics from the doctor but she is saying it will be another year until the problem is fixed. Can anyone tell me the material used in "wedging" the skate holder to help the pronation.

Thanks JR what are the typical thicknesses used? Do you shim just under the rivets on the heel and toe of the holder? Thanks for all your help and input!

Well, that would depend on the pronation.

Half of the holder.

Thanks for the help I figured it out for curiosity sake what is the biggest shim that is feasible?
