So I was watching "Sudden Death" today and noticed (of course) so many inaccuracies when it came to the game! Is it me or does this drive anyone else crazy to watch? For example when Van Dam is dressed as the goalie and punches the guy when the are lined up for the face off the clock is running, or luc scoring with the clock hitting zero? I dont know why but it just got to me and wanted to make sure i wasnt crazy.

Almost every movie featuring hockey has a running clock. I guess the inevitable goal with 0.00 on the clock is a lot more dramatic without them having to take a face off afterwards. Makes me wonder if any of the filmmakers have a clue about hockey, because an overtime goal would work just as well. Oh well.

All movies/TV are like that though. It's amazing how many mistakes make it through...(panckae, waffle, pancake LOL!) and if you watch a movie about any industry you are familiar with...you will find tons of mistakes.

ANYTHING set in a radio station will be full of inaccuracies. DJ's intro-ing a record that isn't spinning, reels running the wrong way...8-tracks in place of 'carts'.

Sudden Death has been my fav movie since I was a kid(for obvious reasons). It always bothered me too but I was always just happy that the movie was based around the Penguins/Pittsburgh. I was gonna post about The Mighty Ducks after reading your post but I see it was already mentioned! I always call out the mistakes when watching it!
